Steven Wasson and Corinne Soum, the last assistants of ‘the father of modern mime,’ Etienne Decroux, founded The Theatre de l’Ange Fou and THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF CORPOREAL MIME in Paris in 1984 and relocated to London in 1995. Since then, the school has attracted students from around the globe. Currently, there are over 20 nationalities represented.
The International School of Corporeal Mime is looking to expand its facilities, with larger rehearsal studios, and a resource center. In addition to enriching the environment for students training in the art and elaborate craft of Corporeal Mime, one of the goals of the school is to develop its own student grant program.
